This page says what linty.xyz collects, why, and who holds it.

  1. 1.Who

Sidestream AI operates linty.xyz. For a question about privacy, email hello@linty.xyz.

  2. 2.The cookie

Linty sets one first-party cookie, lid. It holds a random id and nothing else.

The cookie lasts 1 year. Scripts on the page cannot read it. Linty does not share it with a third party.

  3. 3.Events

Linty records when a page for a brand, a category or a relationship is viewed.

Linty records the text of a search, up to 100 characters, and the number of results.

Linty records a click on a link to apply to a brand.

Each of these events has the lid id and a time. An event does not include your IP address.

When an MCP client connects, Linty records the name and the version that the client sends.

Linty also records a code made from your IP address, the date and a secret key.

This event has no lid id.

Linty uses the code only to count clients per day.

  4. 4.Your IP address

Linty uses your IP address to count requests per minute for the rate limits.

Upstash Redis holds your IP address and that count for about two minutes.

The request logs of the hosting provider also include IP addresses.

  5. 5.Corrections

When you report a correction, Linty stores the text you write and the lid id of your browser.

Linty stores your email address only if you give it. Linty uses it only to reply about that correction.

  6. 6.What Linty does not do

Linty does not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking pixels.

    Linty does not sell data.

The fonts come from linty.xyz, not from a font service.

  7. 7.Service providers

Vercel hosts the site and keeps request logs.

    Supabase holds the database.

    Railway runs a background worker.

    Upstash holds the rate-limit counts.

Better Stack checks that the site is up. These checks use no visitor data.

  8. 8.Your choices

To see or delete a correction or your email address, email hello@linty.xyz.

You can block or delete the lid cookie in your browser. The site continues to work.
